I'm baffled by your choice of water bottle. Shall we take up a collection to help you BUY one that:
1. isn't salsa-smelling?
2. isn't made of breakable glass?
i bet there is an old lady recipe to fix this. but unluckily i am not quite at the age to know what it is. but i am getting on a bit so i'll hazard a guess: hot water and salt (no bleech)
i stand by your salsa smell... but i'll contribute to sherman's fund on the breakable water grounds.
Boil in water with 1/2 cup baking soda.
does that prevent the glass from cracking?
Mr. Blog explained that this was a plastic 64 oz. Pace container, not glass. So my argument is substantially weakened.
